Polly, test phase

Polly is 5’7” with brown hair and eyes. Her skin shows just a hint of her Peruvian background, but her features are predominantly English. Polly was born and raised in Batavia, Illinois, near Chicago. She was the second of 3 children, with two brothers. Her mother died when she was 13 and her father died when she was 17, so the kids went to live with their mother’s parents in Montana. Her parents loved their kids, but pushed them to succeed and would not accept less than perfect in school, athletics, or any other activities in which their children participated. Her father John, was a lawyer at a Chicago law firm, and her mother, Maggie, volunteered at the local hospital doing paperwork. Her grandparents loved the kids just like parents would, but were already 65 and 67 when John and Maggie died, so they were not able to be parents in the typical sense of the word.
When Polly graduated high school, she went to Princeton to study law, but after one year realized that it wasn’t something she enjoyed. She took a semester off to intern with the social security office. She realized there that she could help others through government service. When she returned to Princeton, she changed her major to social work. This opened up a whole new view to her, and she took a job with the local government office. When she graduated, she took a full time position, but when a man came into the office with a gun demanding access to records, she felt such a desire to do something that she could not just sit there. She managed to sneak in behind the man when he was taken to a back room by another employee and discovered that not only was the other employee helping the man, but had planned the encounter with him. She knocked the man unconscious – she had taken karate in Montana because of the angst about her parent’s deaths when she moved to Montana – and placed the other employee under citizens’ arrest.
This incident brought her to the attention of the special ops team. Since then, she has been doing detective work for them and spying on criminal organizations. He main focus is gangs and mafia, so she is constantly in disguise so as to protect her identity and manage infiltrating the groups she is spying on. She is quick and agile, while able to blend in to any environment. Her favorite color is burnt orange, and usually wears some article of clothing with the color, as it reminds her of home for some reason. She doesn’t really have any close friends, especially because she worries that the groups she is hunting will discover and harm them.
Polly discovered the second life world through her coworker, Michael (Micro), and has found that it allows her to be free from constraint. She is not the orphaned girl with no set identity, but a normal, educated woman of 25 who teaches at an elementary school. She has dates at least once a month and is just such a down-to-earth person online, that her severely limited dating experience is somewhat forgotten, or at least set aside. She has made cyber friends and has a cyber parrot, so she feels almost more at home there than in her own apartment, which she shares with Jenny. They haven’t become best friends yet, but Polly is learning to open up to people, and Jenny is just so welcoming.

Recently, Jenny convinced her to join her a yoga class every Tuesday and Thursday. They've had some fun times with it, and Polly discovered that Jenny, a fun-loving and spunky girl, is one of the most entertaining people she knows. They've started watching spy movies together - Jenny has all the James bond movies in her rather large movie collection - and sometimes go into digilife together since they both happen to enjoy it. Jenny continually attempts to set Polly up with random guys, but Polly just thinks its funny.
